It's not even a blog, really... I just made it so I could get an account. It was a harrowing experience, and I don't want to relive it... just leave me alone!

Update Haiku
I have been so sick-- One day better, next day worse. Major sinus thing.
*Edited 9/18/06 for syllabic and health-related accuracy.
First, Vieta, I loved that proverb... was it a clever way of telling me I had too many syllables in my Haiku (more specifically: too many, too few, too many)?
Secondly, Andy, as my father has emphysema the last however-many years of his life, I can tell you up front: you don't want much in the way of pictures that evidenced a major sinus thing... which became a major chest thing... then a throat thing... then back to a sinus thing... then throat--no, wait--che--no, throat--no, wait, sinus again... no, chest it is... wait, chest AND sinus... oh yeah, AND throat...
Oh great. Where was I?
Oh yeah... you don't want no picture that is representing that, other than a cleverly unfocussed (okay, not-cleverly misinterpreted to be in focus at the time of the actual photography when it actually wasn't) picture of some can of soup that's too out-of-date to eat.
Maybe I'll come up with a better one if I ever get around to actually talking to a doctor about this stupid mess.
Two words: zinc lozenges. I used to get bad colds in my chest, throat, and head once or twice a year and be so sick I could barely function for a week. Now I take zinc gluconate (like Coldeze brand) and feel somewhat bad for a couple of days. It is a major improvement for me.

I was hoping "major sinus thing" would make an appearance on "Still: Life," but all we got was fuzzy soup cans.
