She didn't smoke, and she couldn't stand the smell--let alone the taste--of beer.
This picture is a joke. She liked to laugh. She thought it was more useful than crying.

Of course, since she gave birth to you, there had to be a extremely large "humor" gene on her side of the family tree. I am sure she is proud of her slightly offbeat, humorous son! Take care of yourself!
Oh, Mark. I am so, so sorry. I'm also thinking that it was important for you to tell her it was okay to go. I do pray and those prayers are with you and your family. (I'm also taking what you said about Christians not speaking up about the Conservative Christians to heart. Not sure what I'll do with it, but well said and it made me think.) Mia
